Scheduling of Private Lessons:
Private Dance Lessons can be scheduled during our office hours with the available dance instructors. When scheduling a private lesson, you will be notified by email about the scheduling. This is a confirmation that your lesson has been scheduled.
Cancellation & Rescheduling:
We work very hard to accommodate our students’ schedules while making sure our dance instructors have a balanced schedule as well. For all cancellations and rescheduling of private lessons, we require a 24-hour notice during our office hours which are Monday-Friday, 12pm-10pm and Saturday 9am-4pm. We ask our students to give us a call during our office hours (no emails or voicemails please). This way you avoid being charged for the full amount of the lesson.
Hudson Dance Studio offers a variety of payment options to make it most convenient to our students. When choosing an installment agreement, your card will be saved on file and will automatically be charged after the number of prepaid dance lessons is completed. Please keep in mind that we will not notify you in person, but you will receive an email confirming the payment. When signing up for a package of private lessons, you agree to the full number of lessons in the package. We don’t provide any refunds under any circumstances. Private lesson packages must be completed within the designated period of time. All expiration dates are final.
All private lessons have the length of an academic hour which is 45 minutes.
There can be up to two people in a private lesson. For 3 or more people, semi-private rates are available upon request.
The same instructor cannot be guaranteed for the duration of the entire private lesson package.
Private lessons need be paid in advance before they can be scheduled and are non-refundable.
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late to a private lesson will be charged for the entire length of the lesson and Hudson Dance Studio does not guarantee any lost time can be made up.
Private lesson does not assure a private room. Private rooms are available on a limited basis for an additional fee and by reservation only.
All expiration dates are final.
GROUP CLASS MEMBERSHIPS
Membership Agreement at a Glance:
Hudson Dance Studio doesn’t give any refunds under any circumstances. Group classes are 60 minutes in length.
The same instructor cannot be guaranteed for the duration of the entire group class package.
Group classes must be completed within the designated period. All expiration dates are final and there are no carry-overs.
Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted into the class.
Classes are a group activity. We request that you follow the instructor’s routine.
Students must obtain permission from instructors to advance to the next level of group classes.
Please note that the class schedule is modified periodically to address students’ feedback and participation levels.
We ask not to change shoes or clothes in the ballroom. Please use the designated changing rooms for that.
Food is not permitted in the ballroom. Beverages must be in an enclosed, unbreakable container.
In consideration of the instructor and other student, no cell phones in the ballroom. Cell phone use is only permitted in the lobby area.
Appropriate attire is business casual.
Appropriate dance shoes are required for the dance lesson.
Please remember personal because dancing is a very intimate activity that requires close proximity.
