Originally from Moscow, Artem started dancing and competing at the age of 6. He focused on the 10-dance program in Latin & Standard and soon after became finalist in the most prestigious and hotly-contested championships in Russia and Europe such as the oldest dance competition in the world in Blackpool, one of the biggest dance competition in Stuttgart, German Open Championship – just to name a few. As part of the prestigious Moscow dance club that produced many Russian and World champions, he had the opportunity to work alongside world renowned teacher such as Slavik Kriklyvij, Carmen Vincelj, Brian Watson, Elena Khvorova and Anna Bezikova. His commitment and dedication to dance resulted in placing in top 5 from over 400 couples in the Russian National Championship in 2009!

Following successful career as a dancer, Artem decided to focus more on teaching and sharing his love for dance with others. In this time, Artem was introduced to popular social dances Salsa and Argentine Tango. He has had the opportunity to work with big names such as Mambo King Eddie Torres as well as prestigious Maestros in Argentine Tango – Sebastian Achaval, Roxanna Suarez,  Ruben and Sabrina Veliz. Highlights of his teaching career is becoming top teacher in 2014 at one of most prestigious dance schools in Russia as well as choreographing Argentine Tango for the show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on Russian television.
